FAQ
What does “Youthing” mean?
Youthing is the conscious practice of remaining alive, curious, engaged, growing, creative, and vital rather than unconsciously surrendering these qualities to cultural expectations about age. It is not about denying the years you have lived. It is about questioning what you have been taught those years must mean.
Is Youthing about pretending that aging is not real?
No. Chronological and biological aging are real. The course explores how the experience and expression of aging can also be influenced by identity, expectation, belief, stress, movement, curiosity, social connection, nervous system states, and cultural conditioning.
Is this course promising that I can think myself young?
No. Youthing is not wishful thinking, forced positivity, or a promise that thought alone can reverse every biological process.
What is the aging trance?
The aging trance is the unconscious enactment of a cultural story about decline.
What do you mean when you say the brain is an anticipation machine?
The brain continually uses past experience, beliefs, and environmental signals to predict what will happen next, then prepares the body to respond to those predictions.
What is a Youthing Protocol?
A Youthing Protocol is your personalized plan for consciously supporting aliveness through practices involving identity, movement, curiosity, novelty, learning, social connection, creativity, purpose, nervous system regulation, nutrition, rest, pleasure, wonder, and meaningful engagement with life.
Is this course religious?
No. This learning journey is psychospiritual rather than religious.
Who can benefit from this course?
Adults of many ages can benefit. You do not need to wait until you consider yourself old.
How long will I have access to the course?
You will have lifetime access.
