ME. Underneath Addiction I

A 7-week, 49-day learning journey designed to help anyone understand addiction, heal the brain, reconnect with their authentic nature, and create an exciting future filled with possibility.

You are more than your addiction. This course takes you beneath substances, behaviors, cravings, and compulsions to understand addiction as an adaptation rather than an identity. Integrating neuroscience, trauma psychology, emotional healing, psychospiritual studies, and consciousness, it explores how the brain learns addictive patterns, how early experiences shape the nervous system, and how healing can reconnect you with your body, feelings, personal power, authentic Self, meaning, and purpose.

Who this is for

  • Adults struggling with alcohol, drugs, food, relationships, sex, gambling, shopping, technology, work, or other compulsive behaviors.

  • Individuals who have stopped an addictive behavior but still experience underlying pain, emotional patterns, or emptiness.

  • People who use substances or behaviors to escape anxiety, loneliness, trauma, shame, stress, or disconnection.

  • Individuals seeking to understand how childhood experiences, trauma, survival roles, and unconscious patterns contribute to addiction.

  • People participating in therapy, treatment, recovery communities, or personal growth.

  • Family members and loved ones seeking a deeper understanding of addiction.

  • Therapists, counselors, social workers, recovery coaches, and other helping professionals.

FAQ

Can I take this while I’m in therapy?

Absolutely. This journey is designed to complement individual therapy, group counseling, outpatient treatment, or other recovery programs.

Will this stop my cravings?

Recovery is a process, not a single event. As you understand how the brain creates cravings and practice healthier responses, cravings often become less powerful over time.

Is my brain permanently damaged?

No. The brain has an extraordinary capacity to change throughout life. With understanding, healthy practice, support, and time, new neural pathways can develop.

Is this course religious?

No. It is psychospiritual rather than religious and honors each person’s individual beliefs and experiences.
